Change is a process that we fight against with such ferocity that we often do not allow ourselves to see the desperation of our current situations to embrace the change that we so need.
Change can come in many shapes and many sizes but, undoubtedly, when change comes, it is nothing less than a beautiful gift being offered to us to allow us to release ourselves from our current bondage.
Often what is on the other side of change is the opportunity to connect with our gifts and passions, which will then allow us to walk the path that our dreams are made of, if only we could find the courage to allow that change to happen.
Many of us, in the current climate, are feeling deeply affected by, not only the external changes that are happening around us, but also the internal changes that are shaking us to our very core. No longer are we prepared to walk the path that society has deemed for us. No longer are we prepared to allow ourselves to continue to drown in the slumber of our everyday lives. No longer are we prepared to be lost.
This process, that many have called ‘waking up’ is a process that will affect each and every one of us over the coming years. For some, that process has already deeply taken hold, whilst for others, it is still new and confusing, but no matter what stage of your journey you are currently at, one thing is for sure, change is coming for each and every one of us.
We can fight against that change with every morsel of our being or we can embrace the change that is undoubtedly coming with open arms. To fight against that change is to struggle, to embrace is to love and to be loved. To fight is to inflict misery and pain, to embrace is to allow what is best for us to take ahold with peace and with trust. To fight is to cling onto the old with such might that we find ourselves battered and bruised, to embrace is to transcend.
This transcendence into something new is the transcendence into owning one’s own power. It is the transcendence into living life in the way that it is meant to be lived – with joy and with passion. It is the transcendence into finding one’s own self and following one’s own dreams whilst living with love and compassion.
To transcend into a place of love and a place of peace is to transcend into the very being that you are meant to be. It is to become you, in all of your entirety and all of your power. It is to become you in all of your grace and all of your ease. It is to become all that you are and all that you are meant to be.
To be YOU, purely and simply, releasing the ego that causes you pain, is the greatest gift that we, as man, could ever be offered. To be YOU with all of the joy and all of the creativity that you brought to this life, that you held so dear, before we were taught to conform, is the greatest opportunity that humanity has ever seen. To embrace this opportunity to be free, is the most powerful shift in consciousness that our planet has ever witnessed.
And so, instead of fighting against this change, that is coming no matter what we do, let us, instead, embrace it with open arms. Let us ride the wave of change that may be bumpy at first – that may throw us into the murky ocean as the waves rip around our feet. That may make us feel like we are drowning and gasping for air as we desperately try to swim to the surface and regain composure. Let us allow ourselves to be pushed and pulled with the strength of the ocean until we eventually realise that we must relinquish control and simply surrender to the journey. As we recognise that such surrender allows the waves of change to carry us to the shore where we can once again see the sun shining on the horizon. Where we once again see the strength of humanity as it comes together as one. Where we can once again recognise who we truly are in all of our glory and all of our wisdom. Where we once again are free…
